Nada sou sou

Kimu Taku sang Nada sou sou on TV today. For the uninformed, Nada sou sou is one of the traditional songs from Okinawa. Amazingly, I felt homesick. Not for Singapore but for Okinawa. Perhaps it's becos I am not used to Hokkaido yet. It's so different from Okinawa. Or perhaps it's the 'weather'. Cold and indifferent Hokkaido compared to warm and friendly Okinawa. Honestly, I never felt homesick when I was in Okinawa. Of course, I did say that I am mentally prepared that it'll be different here so there!!!! It's really different!!!
Here's some pictures of my hotel room. It's really very small but very clean and comfy. Btw, this is my last night in the hotel. It's very last minute, but I decided to move to my apartment tomorrow. For more details, please see the next entry.
Oh, another bump on the road. Seems like my supervisor deemed my Japanese to be good enough so he did not register me for the Japanese language classes! But... but... but I really want to go for a refresher course!! Eheh heh... actually, I have an ulterior motive. Say if I take the language classes, it'll be full of foreigners, rite? I make friends with them, then I can visit their countries and stay at their house for FREE!!! Muah ha ha! There goes my evil plot to take over the world!!
