Displays on Ainu
It's more than a month since I posted anything... so sorry!!! Lots has happened since then but I'll start from the beginning...
I went to 3 displays on Ainu in a single day. I say 'displays' because it's just a part of a museum. Luckily, one of the lectures I am attending is on Ainu images in museums so it's actually of my homework to check out these displays. For those who don't know, the main topic of my research is on Ainu. And for those who don't know who the Ainu people are, they are a minority of Japan. They are the indigenous people living in northern Japan until the Meiji Government took over their land. One of the displays is in a garden so lots of picture chances!!! Eleanor is also interested in Ainu related stuff and Sasha tagged along.
Oh! On the way out of the garden, this horse carriage just passed by me. Was in a hurry so it's not very clear...
