It's Eleanor's birthday and my very first Okonomiyaki since coming over to Sapporo!! Well, actually her birthday's yesterday but we are celebrating on 29th Nov. It's delicious and not too expensive. Just right for us, the penniless students who waits for the next handout from the Education Ministry every month. I gave her a muffler while Sasha gave her a bottle of scented stones.
After the hearty dinner, we went for a walk around Odori. Here's what the Christmas illumination looks like. That's the famous clock tower at the back. However, according to Eleanor, they don't really change the decorations much. Ha ha! Makes me think of the red n white giraffe-tree along Orchard road.
