My Nauseous arrival in Goto
I arrived in Goto island in a nauseous mood. Had to sleep on the ferry just so that I won't do something as unsightly as vomiting in front of the ojisans and obasans. Upon docking, there was no sight of my dear friend. what an anti-climax! After waiting about 5-10 mins, Teresa finally appeared. She whipped out her camera and started snapping pictures of the city girl arriving in the remote island.
And here's the tunnel that leads to her sleepy little village.
This is the feast that dear Teresa prepared for me! Her very last packet of beehoon, chicken curry, pineapple lassi and the always important salad!
Luckily, she has a tripod stand. Here we are posing with our food. I simply can't wait to eat it!
Yummy yummy!!
After dinner, I volunteered to help Teresa slice the dutch bread she got for free. This is after seeing the way she was shredding the poor bread into pieces. FYI, this bread has more butter than usual and it is extremely extremely delicious!
After cutting the bread with my superior skills and taking a shower, we had desert!! It's mainly the delicious omiyage I brought to her. Look at how delighted she is! And we are in matching outfits too! Baby blue and baby pink!!
