27th Aug- Yen Ling in Sapporo (Summer version)
Yen Ling is back in Sapporo again. This time to check out the summer version of Hokkaido with her parents and also to clear her leave before going back home to Singapore. Due to my busy schedule and that Yen Ling is not staying in Sapporo for long, we simply met up for a yummy soup curry dinner with her parents, followed by the firework festival near Toyohira river. I just realized that she my second friend whose family speaks 3 different language to each other. i.e., parents who are English and Chinese educated respectively and only communicate with each other in dialect. I have always found such families facinating since I can't speak much Hokkien.
