Costco banzai!!!!!
Dawn kindly brought me to a large, carrefour-like american store on the outskirts of Sapporo. The store was as tempting as carrefour, except the amount in everything sold is for at least 4 to 8 persons to consume. 1.5kg cheesecake, 1.6kg tiramisu, huge muffins 12 in a package, even the potato chips come in humongous packaging. Unfortunately, I couldn't really enjoy the experience cos my chronic innards took a turn for the worse. Felt rather bad towards Dawn, cos she don't seem to be someone used to being a carer for a person larger and older than her. She thought I was kidding when I told her I don't feel too good cos I am usually very independant and self-reliant. (He he he! Old Wang is selling melon) Personally, I think my condition was aggravated by the jerky bus ride I had to endure. Was so bus-sick that I almost wanted to vomit. Also no appetite at all for dinner...
I bought a tin of popcorns that costs a hefty 15dollars!!! Then... drumroll.... snowboarding goggles and gloves!!!!!!!!!! All I need is a beanie that I can tie to my chin (so that wen I crash and fly, it won't fly off) and I am all set for more snowboarding!!
That aside, went to the Hokudai hospitable today. Quite interesting experience. You wait for your number to be called in order to pay to a machine. If only the main university itself is so advanced in technology!!! Sigh!!! Cos who does manual sign-up for lessons and lectures nowaday?!?
I had my stomach x-rayed but no broken or fractured bones. Will perhaps pay a visit to the hospitable on Friday again if my innards still hurts.
