Photographs: Reconstruction of events
Nobody usually take sad or mundane, run of the mill pictures. It would be inappropriate to say to your crying ex whom you have just broken up with, 'Wait har! Let's take a picture to commemorate this event cos I wanna put it up in my blog.' Duh?!? What about pictures of convenient stores? Who cares??
Photographs are taken to commemorate an event, or some kind of memo to a special occasion or someone.
It goes without saying that my photos will consist of my travels, interesting things that I come across in my everyday life. In other words, photographs only record down happy, interesting, unique events, things and people. So yes, the level of effort I put into my studies here is a far cry from my readings crunching days in NUS. But I am trying to do something before my next deadline this coming friday... Not to mention the fact that I actually pulled an all-nighter two nights in a row in my previous deadline. Do you want a picture of my oily face with dark circles under my eyes and my glasses slipping down my nose looking like an aunty? No way! So I shall just leave you with a photo of the mess my room degenerates into whenever a deadline looms near and my precious Variel's sleeping pose.
