Sleepless in Sapporo
This post is just to record down the fact that I am still wide awake at 6:30am and have not slept at all for the whole night.
Do NOT ever venture to write on post-colonial theory or read Spivak and Bhabha. Those postcolonial writers simply exist to ensure that the actual post-colonial laywomen/men cannot access their works through their bombastic words.
3 hours later, I will be off to visit the grave of Mashio Chiri in the hectic midst of my alphabet-birthing. All simply to be in the good books of certain people that I want to ingratiate myself to. Again, I question my moral and motive for my research.
