Spare the rod and spoil the child
Several issues that has been on my mind. Been wanting to blog about it but as usual, was rushing a JTB deadline while watching dramas. ^^
For those who knows me well, it doesn't take a leap of imagination to know that the term 'child', is defined in terms of the furry four legged kind. However, I am of the opinion that both are actually quite alike in many aspects.
Unfortunately, while I blame the owner for an unruly dog, I blame both parents and the kid itself for an unruly kid. Upon reflection, if the kid is really too young to think for itself, perhaps it would to safe to throw all the blame on the doting/ hapless parents. Hmmm...
The case is not the same for dogs. Their mind is that of a toddler, even when they are 10 years old. Of course, there are clever dogs and stupid dogs. But whatever behavior these canines adopt are a direct or indirect result of their human family.
Meanwhile, when a human child grows up, it has to take on the burden of responsibility for their own actions. For all the idiotic behavior that they had innocently enacted, even though it was due to a case of bad parenting, it is now their responsibility.
So perhaps it is better to have a kid. Even if they turn out to be a shitty S.O.B, it is their own fault.
