Two to tango
It takes two to tango, and in this case, two very stubborn person in a tango.
And once again, my mum is in between a stone and a hard place.
At least, this time, I am in Singapore instead of a Skype phone in Japan.
I guess the problem lies in the influence of a father. No matter how much his existence is detested by his children, no matter how much he is abhorred, his approval is important nonetheless. And the lack of approval causes a chain reaction of anger, rebellion and self-destructive relationships. Very idiotic, but perhaps that is the way the psyche is programmed. A really unfortunate state of family affair.
So here, I pose a question to my attached friends: Is it of utmost importance to go touchy-feely with your bf in front of your own family? Can you not get a grip on to your insatiable urges and not announce, in a non-verbal method, to your relations that you are very much in love?
Is it too difficult to not touch your bf in front of a father who gets the vapors upon seeing such unconscionable act, whose tender sensibilities gets too easily offended by the slightest of impropriety, who is actually a puritan in disguise?
