Version 1, 2, 3, 4, 5......
These days, I am simply writing and re-writing my statement of intent/ purpose/ research or whatever the grad school I am applying to is calling this piece of writing. Every statement must be specifically catered to the research interests of the faculty in the various departments. Not to mention that every grad schools have different requirements in the contents of the statement.
At the same time, I simply happened to send in a CV to Pasona (recruitment agency) and now, have to go to a interview tomorrow. It's part time, and ends in early Feb next year but I might have to start immediately, which is not what I want. Cos I have not finished with my statement version 1.14325 yet. But if the pay is good.... it'll be very tempting. Why? Cos it's the dream job of all gamers!!! Game tester at EA games! Gosh! What if they pay me to play the Sims 3 in Japanese? *salivates*
On to another topic. Friends who know me know how crazy I am over my danna aka snowboard and girlfriends who know me really well know how much I HATE Rusutsu (and friends who love me will boycott Rusutsu). Two things happened:
1) My snowboard was sent to Rusutsu cos I asked a friend to bring him back for me. Cos she happens to visit Rusutsu last weekend. To my horror, she actually brought him onto the wretched mountain for a run!!!! 2) My friend left my snowboard jacket in a sapporo hotel. Which defeats the purpose of getting MX to send my danna to the miasma of evil, Rusutsu, in the first place.
'Helplessness' is a state that I will advise my readers to avoid at all costs. Now, my danna has betrayed me at Rusutsu, and I am looking for somebody to collect my jacket from the hotel, pass it to MX or somebody coming to Singapore so that it can be passed into my hands. All the storm in a teacup just because I need my danna for the Seoul part of my march trip.
