The Blind Side
The best thing about working (other than the money) is the fact that your weekends are for yourself and only yourself. So here I am, shopping in the afternoon (will blog about it later) and watching another movie that had been patiently waiting for me in my external hard disc for months.
Yup, the blind side is, undoubtedly, a good movie. Quinton Aaron plays a very unassuming, quiet Michael Oher and that was what made his whole performance quite touching. There really wasn't much crying or screaming or any tear-jerker moments. But you just can't help but feel so sad at how helpless 'Big Mike' was in the face of all the subtle discrimination.
While I liked the movie, I much prefer the fact that I finally have a nice, quiet weekend for myself. That is, discounting the lovebirds sitting on the living room sofa pawing over each other like it is going to be the end of the world.
