The EVIL elder sister from HELL
I had my first experience of a control freak/ bully/ sourpuss/ pushy/ power crazed elder sister from hell whose mouth spews out snide comments. Maybe she cares too much for her younger sister and wants her to have a perfect wedding day. It must be so perfect that she will bite anybody's head off, bride included, if her perfect plans screws up.
My friend, the bride, is a wonderful, patient, friendly and caring girl, but her shrew of a sister made her so irritated that she even raised her voice against that mesu inu (MI). MI spent the morning alternating between giving loud commands, scolding both her younger sisters for their general ineptitude, and nagging. She scolded the bride for not ordering an extra hair garland from the florist. When the bride tried to explain to her father on the limited amount of complimentary parking tickets, MI kept interjecting and cutting the blushing bride off.
MI tops off the end of the day after the dinner. She blatantly 'hinted' to the brides' friends to go home and not hang around the hotel room. Like I said, the caring MI felt that the bride will be too tired to entertain her friends so the friends should just go downstairs, say goodbye and get the hell home.
I don't think MI understands the idea of CELEBRATING a joyous event. To her, a wedding is a giant problem that needs to be resolved. An irritating pimple that needs to be squeezed out. She looked angry all the time. Again, this shows how sisters can be as different as night and day, just like me and mine own. At least this is MI's rather extreme expression of love and concern for her sister. I don't think I will even attend my own sister's wedding.
