Yaay!!
SPAIN WON!! Basically, I am not a soccer fan but I like Spain simply because I usually use this team when working in EA games. For the uninformed, I spent more than 1 month at EA games testing FIFA World Cup on the Wii platform. Spain was usually the default team I used as I absolutely loved the country of Zara, Mango and Gaudi.
So I set my alarm to 2.30am just so that I can catch this match. Luckily, I only woke up at 4 plus and missed the goal-less first half. Didn't realized that Torres did not have much chance to shine even though his player rating was among the highest in the wii game. My fav world cup was still the 2002 one, during which I watched with my dorm mates in Okinawa. And I remember how ecstatic my Brazilian friends were that year.
So congrats to Spain and I do hope to visit you again when Sagrada Familia is completed!
